Nestlé’s In Society Report 2024 highlighted Embode’s role in addressing human rights risks within the global palm oil sector. In partnership with Winrock International, which managed the Nestlé Human Rights Fund, Embode provided technical expertise to strengthen the human rights due diligence (HRDD) processes of key palm oil suppliers in 2022. Our work focused on identifying and mitigating systemic risks, specifically targeting child labour and forced labour and the promotion of responsible recruitment and safe working conditions.
