Background

Embode is an international consulting agency dedicated to human rights and social development. It works through its client projects across the world and in different areas with a particular specialisation in the area of exploitation and labour issues. Embode is made up of two words, ‘embody’ and ‘abode’ to symbolise ‘as above, so below’. In other words, we understand that in order to make systemic change, it is necessary to be able to actively work with and respond to systemic behaviours and processes at all levels of self, teams, organisations and sectors. Embode’s approach is to work with our clients, partners, collaborators and ourselves with confidence, consciousness and curiosity to learn. We understand that systemic dynamics are a reality and that they must be acknowledged and responded to at all levels of our lives and experience. What distinguishes us is that we work vigilantly with the conscious and unconscious patterns in our everyday interactions and projects.
